MARGOT RETIRES
SPRINGBANK CARRIES ON AS USUAL

After running Springbank for 12 years Margot has retired (or at least is trying to) but the guest house continues and is now run by Susan.

Susan is a local lady with considerable experience in the hospitality business who, with Margot's continuing help and advice, will strive to maintain the high standards that you have all so kindly complemented us on in the past.

Springbank is comfortable detached guest house with nearly every need catered for. It provides a friendly, hassle free place to stay on business, visiting relatives, a romantic break or a walking holiday in some of best countryside in the Peak District.

It was built around 1840 and retains many Victorian features. We offer non-smoking, period style, en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation in the beautiful Goyt valley within easy reach of Buxton, Stockport, Macclesfield, Manchester and Sheffield.

We have luxury, family, double & twin rooms available.

Most have en-suite shower room with old-style high level WC.

Why not relax with a candle lit soak in our original victorian bath.

You can see the hills from all our rooms but rooms 1 and 2 have a really open aspect.
